About Mandie
In addition to being a certified dog trainer, Mandie has been around dogs her entire life and lovingly shares her home with the 5 family dogs of Faith, Grace, Trinity, Mystic, and Haven. She also carries in her heart the memory and legacy of the many family dogs that have graced her life over the years.
Most of our services are a family affair with everyone pitching in on some aspect of our programs. Our family dogs have competed and participated in a wide variety of events and activities - everything from obedience trials, rally, and agility to dock diving and UPdog (disc dog) to nursing home visits as therapy dogs. Mandie has served as a volunteer trainer and county dog superintendent for the 4H/FFA dog program, volunteered as a puppy raiser and whelper for a service dog organization, and worked for a local dog kennel - all while continuing to work a full time job in education. With her love for learning and her passion for dogs, Mandie believes in utilizing all the resources available to continue to learn and build new skills in understanding dog behavior and the variety of ways we can shape and train canine behavior to allow our dogs to be the best version of themselves possible. |
